Instrument names in PDF Export
I have written music for 3 trumpets.
In the Musecore editor their names are:
Trumpet 1
Trumpet 2
Trumpet 3
In the exported PDF files their corresponding names are:
Trumpet
Trumpet (1)
Trumpet (2)
Where can the exported instrument names be edited?

Maybe if you adjust the instrument name under Staff/Part Properties?
At least that was the case in the 3.x versions ...

Sorry, I found no edit control for text but only for style.

I said "Staff / Part Properties"!

It leads to a sheet with the name "Bariton abc".

Thank You, I found it.
But there are only the instrument names from GUI.
The wrong names in the PDF are not listed and not changed.

The Instrument only has the options from a list, yes. But the Part Name, Long Instrument Name, and Short Instrument Name are text fields. In particular, the Long Instrument Name is the name that appears on the first system of a section and the Short Instrument Name is the name that appears on every other system.

This may be a completely different problem.
I now have 2 scores. One is as it should be. The other is faulty, as described above.
I created the faulty score first, did a lot of editing and tried printing.
I created the second one much faster with more knowledge of how MuseScore works.

Here is a non-editable source where the "wrong" names appear.
Does anyone know where these names can be edited?

Assuming you use current version (4.4.2), you have to edit parts names. Click on Parts (my MS is in portuguese).
