creating score by combining existing scores (parts)
I have created 2 scores--one for each part of a piece. Is there a way to 'easily' combine the 2 separate scores into one score--so I can listen to the parts playing together.
I am a novice Muse user; so it is easier for me to create one part at a time-which of course the system sees as separate scores.
Thank you

No. Tha Album fearuire of Mu2 nas never come back regardless of having been promised and regardless of even having been implemented in a GSoC project
It's actually markedly easier to create the parts in a single score because of how difficult it is to combine them. BUT ..
Create a new, blank score. In the New Score dialog, give it the appropriate instrumentation, time signature, key signature, number of measures, and title and the other text elements.
Open one of the separate scores and the blank score. Copy and paste from the separate score into the appropriate stave in the blank score. Close the first separate score and open the second. Copy and paste from the second separate score into the other stave of the (no longer :-) blank score.
You will find that some elements don't copy/paste well or at all. In particular, if you have a time signature change, this will not copy/paste properly at all. Instead of copy/pasting the entire part, copy from the beginning to the measure immediately before the new time signature. Enter the new time signature in that next measure. Then copy/paste from there on ... to the end or the next time signature, as the case may be. And do the same in the second part.
It really is MUCH easier to create the parts in a single score to begin with. Try it next time.
