Half diminished (ø) in standard chord appearance style?

EDIT: I must have been doing something wrong. The half-dim symbol seems to be fine in the standard chord style.

I know that '0' creates a half-dim symbol when using Jazz chord style but not with the standard chord style. I need to do Nashville lead sheets, and standard style seems to work better with Nashville.

I realize this is as designed, but wondered if that feature might be added? Right now the D0 looks (to me) like a diminished, not half-dim. Thanks.

If when standard chord appearance you mean you would like the chord written out, you can either use the "0" key on your keyboard (which you were referencing) and additionally you can just write the chord out and put a b5 symbol to symbolize that. For instance, an A-7(b5)
