Tempo change plugin for Musescore 4

Is there a tempo change plugin for Musescore 4? It was one of the most delightful feature of version 3 but I don't see it in the plugin section. Is there a reason why it cannot be implemented? It really enhances playback when you put a piece online and make it more likely someone will want to play it give it a good rating.

I tend toward the opposite opinion. The functionality built into Mu4 is only worthwhile over fairly short accel. or rit. and for relatively small amounts of change: about 4 measures and about 1.5 times the tempo change is the most that they sound right.

This is because they divide the tempo change into four discrete changes made at the 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and end of the length of the accel. or rit.. If the change is more than about 1.5 times, then the discrete changes are too large and thus too obvious. If the change extends over longer than about 4 measures the changes happen at wide enough intervals that they are, again, too obvious.

It was my recollection that the plugin allowed the user to select the number and/or size of discrete changes.

Thank you for your responses! After posting my question, I discovered that rit. and accel. are available in the Tempo Palette and can be used to change the tempo. I’m now working on learning how to use them effectively. Since I’m not making significant tempo changes over a large number of measures, they seem to work well for my needs. That said, I appreciate the precise control the plugin provides. Having the plugin as a complement to the built-in feature in Mu4 would be a plus.
