finding the latest version of MS
Further to my last post, I now can't open my latest scores because apparently I don't have the version of MS they were created with. I've no idea why. But I can't download due to not being able to change read permissions to write as explained in the previous post. Please can someone help? I'm confused and lost!
Many thanks

To find the latest version of MuseScore, click the Download button near the top of the page, then click on Software. You'll see "the latest stable version" right at the top, with buttons for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

this is the message I get when I try to install the update:
The operation can’t be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > Get Info, make sure ‘Locked’ is unselected, and then check the Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read Only or No Access, try again.
Where do I go to do this?

It says here I have custom access and it's read and write.

Opens fine here, in 4.4.4. Stems from 4.4.2, so I guess you should update

I've tried downloading it again but still get the same message which doesn't make sense to me because my version of MS4 has read and write access.
