Can't Open "Invalid Score"
Hey, I was working on a score last night and when I tried reopening it today, I got this message saying, "Your score could not be opened. This score is invalid." Does anyone know why that is? Is there any way to fix it?

A picture doesn't help. Attach the score itself: the .MSCZ file. With that we (some of us, at any rate!) can tell whether it's recoverable or not.

I had saved it to the cloud, so I don't have a .mscz file that I'm aware of.

Look in your download folder. It must be there ...

If that's accurate, then there's no way to fix it.
However, unless I'm wildly mistooken, MuseScore saves scores locally before/at the same time as (?) it saves them in the cloud. Try searching for a folder with "cloud" in the name? Sorry I don't recall the local (temp) storage location. Anybody else?

I don't have a .MSCZ file anywhere, so there's no way to get the score working again? I'll just have to start it over?

Then go to musescor.com, login with your account and find the file. Or click on this side on your name (right above), select 'My Scores' and find your file. Then dowload it.
If no file is there, then you have to start over ...

Possibly. But the reason for this error can have various causes. So please enclose your score.
