Copy and Paste Chords Only
I'm trying to copy chord symbols to each system of a Jazz big band score and I can't quite execute it. I found the selection filter but once uncheck everything except chords, it no longer lets me copy or paste anything

You do not need the selection filter.
Right click on a chord symbol, chooce "Select -> All Similar Elements (in same staff)" and copy.
At the destination select a note or rest and paste.
