Beaming over Time Signature change
I'm currently arranging the Rite of Spring for saxophones on MuseScore, and while I was working on a section of the Sacrificial Dance that uses a lot of cross-measure beaming, MuseScore's beaming went completely haywire. This has happened a lot before whenever beams go over time signature changes, and its been quite annoying, so any way to fix it would be appreciated.
The First Image is the glitch, the Second is what it's supposed to look like, and the Third is the original score.

You've already changed the instruments. I see no possible good reason to beam the odd way that publisher did.

because the beaming matches with the phrasing and the slurs, and it looks really odd whenever it's not beamed because the rest of the section of the piece matches the same format

Of course. You must do what you think is best. Personally, I would just use the slurs to denote phrasing. That's what they are for. The beaming just looks clunky, and not really needed.

I’m quite sure Stravinsky knew what he was doing!

I'm not saying he didn't. He was pianist. There are all kinds of things they read and write that only apply to piano technique. This music was originally composed for piano. It stayed that way for a few years while he tried to get someone interested in producing it. Did he orchestrate it? No idea. Over the initial years that it was finally performed, conductors kept pointing out errors in it. Over and over. Through the years. In 2000, when a new publisher took over the score, 21,000 corrections where made. There have been many discussions on this forum about beaming things in such a way that respects the beat. This beaming does not do that. I haven't always agreed. But still...
I had a quick go in Musescore Evolution 3.7 and am not having any problems.

Works in the latest development version too

When you say pear-shaped I'm gonna assume you mean all crazy looking, and it does that whenever I place down the 2nd pair of beamed notes in the 3rd measure

I'm able to do it with MuS 4.4.4:
You have to use two tools, rather than just one, to beam over the barline, but it works quite happily. First, select the rests and click the Join beams tool from Beam properties palette. Then select the first note after the barline and click the Break inner beams (16th) tool from the same palette.
