Configurations after update

Hello, I would like to know what the things are in the red circle, and how to turn them off.

Also, I would like to know if there is a way to change the settings so that when I click on the staff, the note doesn't change despite the height of the mouse.
Before the update, when I chose the snare drum, whenever I clicked on the staff, It used to only input the snare drum. But after the update, the input changes according to the note my mouse is on top of. It makes me very hard to make scores as I usually used the mouse to make them. please help me.
