tuba & clarinet sound
So the clarinet sound and tuba sound are really baad in musescore 2.0. On some notes it sounds like two different notes played at the same time and it also makes an annoying "click" sound at the end of everynote. Is there anyway to fix that? Btw i'm a bit new to musescore:)

Welcome! You shgould be aware there is no MuseScore 2.0 yet - just experimental Beta and Nightly builds that will eventually, once enough bugs get fixed, become 2.0. The issue with the tuba sound is known - see #34151: Noise inside tuba sound. I hadn't heard anyone report an issue with clarinet, but I assume the underlying cause is probably the same. Should be fixed before release.

Thank you for the link! I found a way to fix tuba sound:D
And thanks for all the information
You need to be far more specific about this.
As MArc says, the problem with the tuba is already known and will be fixed in the final release version.
Exactly where are the problems with the clarinet? I don't want to trawl through every single note in the clarinet to find the ones which are causing the problem. Please list the notes concerned.

Well I found the way to fix tuba sound but for the clarinet : it happens on pretty much every note and is easily audible when editing. Basicly, every time the note ends, it makes a click noise and I can hear it very well when I place notes rapidly. In playback, it doesn't always happen but a "click" can be heard louder then roughly five instruments and it's quite annoying.

Yes, I hear a slight click at the tail end of the clarinet in FluidR3.sf3 in MuseScore 2.0 (current build) for most notes. Try, for instance, the concert C (written D) an octave above middle C. Same with concert D E F G. So that if I create a new score for clarinet, go to note entry, and type D E F G A, I hear a slight click at the end of each note.

Hmm - not happening with my test score on 2.0 beta here.
And there is no click in the soundfont.
In 1.3 there were sometimes problems with the Fluid noise gate closing abruptly with an audible click. This could be related, but as I say it ain't happening on my system.
Could you both try with the uncompressed soundfont - could be an artifact introduced during compression.

Which sound output are you using?

You can hear it while the notes pointed out by Marc (written D E F G) are played in Note Entry mode, or when they are played when you select them via mouse-click. During normal playback you can't hear the click, except for very short notes (16th notes and below).
It happens also for the uncompressed SoundFont.

It's a "feature" of the PortAudio sound system.
If you switch to JACK audio output it doesn't happen, which is why i couldn't hear the click on my system which is set to use JACK by default.
This makes me even more sure that it is related to the same problem in 1.3 of the noise gate closing with an audible click.
Workaround - install JACK and route sound output through that - if you need help with this, email me as the current installation and configuration instructions for Windows users are full of broken links, inaccuracies, and plain wrong instructions!

Yes, it does indeed sound much like the gate close issue in 1.3, and that certainly is cocnsistent with the fact that it isn't always present.
Fwiw, I was using Linux, with ALSa selected (not PortAudio) in my I/O preferences. Still, I guess PortAudio is still involved in chain somehow.

if you selected only ALSA and not alsa in portaudio section, portaudio should not be involved in the chain.

It's not yet in a fit state for public consumption! Just jottings on the backs of envelopes!
When I get some spare time to collate it I will be sharing ti.

Well at least when you export a score there's no clicks in the file.
And is it hard to install JACK?

It's not hard to install JACK, but the configuration is a little tricky on a Windows system due to lack of documentation.
The attached document is not complete - there is still quite a lot of work to do on it.
It should help to get you started, however. Email me if you run into trouble.
