Finale NotePad is *extremely* limited; this would be like comparing Microsoft Word to, well, Windows Notepad. Notion is a much more full featured program than NotePad, and in that respect, it's roughly similar to MuseScore in capabilities. it's not really as sophisticated as MuseScore in many respects, but it does have a slick interface.
Hey Selko, I'm afraid we don't have an up to date comparison with both products. In any case, don't hesitate to check out MuseScore as it's free (open source) software. Or perhaps you want to share your notation software needs or use case, and we could answer if MuseScore would fit your needs.
