Transposing in 0.96 RC1

Hi all,

I've a question more related to making sheet music than to Musescore itself. I've used Musescore 0.95 for quit a while now. Creating sheet music for an alto recorder. I don't have any musical background but until so far it hasn't been a real problem. But changing from 0.95 to 0.96 RC1 I got confused when using the option to transpone notes. In the old version I did this by hearing. The options seems to be improved but without a musical background I need some help to get on the right track.

I think an alto recorder is a non transposing instrument so:
a) which setting should I use to transpose piano music that is to high for my alto recorder?
b) I've recently bought a alto sax (I think it is in Es). Which setting should I use to transpose my sheet music for the alto recorder to be able to play it on the sax?
c) My daughter plays the Bes Klarinet. Which setting should I use to transpose the alto recorder music to the Bes Klarinet
d) How should I transpose the sheet music for the Bes Klarinet to Alto sax or Alto recorder.

Thanks for helping!

Robby
