Changing Page Numbering
Is there a way to get the page numbering to start on a numeral other than 1? I'm writing a book, and the music is preceded by text. I want to get my score to start on page 7, but while I'm able to select and change the page number in editing mode, it instantly reverts back to 1 when I unselect the page number.

Current versions of MuseScore are not able to start with a page number other than 1.

and, once you have edited with no page numbers, just use some text to place "fake" page numbers...

Thanks to both of you!
When I look at this, http://musescore.com/score/15881 I noticed the page numbers have been customized. Is it done with some kind of a hack or are they using a pre-release of 1.2 or 2.0? Cause I couldn't open the file, claiming that my 1.1 version is "too old"...

The OpenGoldberg project is done in 2.0. You would need to download and compile the trunk (2.0) version to open the Goldberg files.

You can start your score at page 4 in MuseScore 1.1. Go to Layout -> Page settings -> First page number
