What to use for Euphonium?
Hey everybody? Which patch do you use for the euphonium? Is there a dedicated Euph out there? I usually use tuba but I'd like a better euph.

There's currently no Euphonium as it doesn't belong to the GM sound set.
Consider it added to the wish list of improvements to the default soundfont.
I use this in MuseScore 2.

I installed it, but it makes no sound on playback for any instrument

Since it is presumably a non-GM soundfont, you'll have to select the sound explicitly in the Mixer.

But I don't find euphonium on the list..... I would also like an soundfont that has euphonium.

But what happens is when I load the soundfont, it messes with all the other instruments sounds in the mixer. What happens to me is that all the instruments' sound became euphonium now.

Add it to the end of the list, then change your euphonium to that sound in Mixer, it should towards the end of the list

The issue w.r.t. native euphonium playback is tracked at #324929: Euphonium does not have native sound/playback.
Although the general MuseScore tuba sound (to date) can get to that C5 before there's no sound, making it pretty useful for almost all euphonium music (besides the extreme high range stuff), I'll help with the search for something better by posting a comment and making the forum topic one that has been interacted with more recently. Guess that'll bring someone else here to find something.
