Help with anacrusis
I'm a brand-new user and probably made a mistake when I started my first score. I need the first measure to be a pick-up in the accompaniment part, but I've only been able to change the rest value for some of the SATB voices. No matter what I do to measure properties, I cannot change the whole rest to a quarter rest in all the parts, although it did work for some. Any help, please, would be greatly, deeply appreciated!

Change the actual duration in measure properties. Then in each staff, use the space bar to enter the rest you need.
There is currently a "bug" (or a feature), when you change the actual duration and the measure is empty, a full measure rest is still used. See the full discussion : #6055: Full measure rests should not be used for incomplete measures
