Continuous view issue
Hi, gang!!!
Is it normal that the continuous view looks like the attached file? Or, Is it something relative with my PC, only? ???
I'm talking about the semitransparent bar at the left of the staves and the dim (weak) staves below that bar.
Greetings!!!
Juan

Mmmm.
I think it isn't useful if we want to make a video with that.
Couldn't it be improved? ???

It has definitely been improved for 2.0.2, but the essential structure is still the same. It's quite necessary; without it, there would be no way to tell which instruments were on treble or bass clefs, for example—all the staves would look exactly the same.

@jotape1960 do you have an example video or sketch of what you like to achieve? How you like to see the sheet music visualised/rendered?

No. Sorry, I don't have any video made by me (because I'm just a "new boy" in this world).
But you can see a lot on YouTube. For example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgJJR4IwgO4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1AJK0mBBb0
Those videos are just a way to show the music.
Maybe it could be done with a continuous view type of scrolling.
It would be great if MuseScore has some tool to do it.

Based on those videos, I think you might want to try switching to Page View. ;-)
I don't see that in the image you attached, but if you mean like this , the answer is yes, it's supposed to look like that. It actually looks different in version 2.0.2, which will be released soon, but you'll see what that's like when the time comes.
EDIT: Now I see the picture. Yes, it's supposed to look like that.
