Macros or automation?

Hi, I was wondering if Musescore 4 has a way of doing something like this:

I have a chord progression with two chords per measure in 4/4
There are no notes on the staves
For each chord I would like to automatically generate the major or minor third as a half note

Is there a way to do this?
Does Musescore have a way to add third party extensions? If so is there developer documentation?
