Avoid automatic measure advance

Hi, gang!!!

Is there a way to temporarily stop the default automatic measure advance when we are input notes? ???

I mean, I'm input notes, at some measure, some page, and the cursor jumps to the next measure when the one I'm input notes is full. It isn't relevant when the measures are into the same page, but... there are times when the cursor jumps to the next page and, sometimes, it is a too annoying to me because I want to stay in the page the cursor has just to leave!!!

Some idea? ???
