Help - how to insert sf mark.
Am trying to insert a sforzando (sf) mark in a score but cannot find it under dynamic / accentuation. Can anyone advise? Thank you.

It's there, you just need to be using thre Advanced workspace (see control at bottom of palette).

Thank you very much. Will have another look. Can't actually work out the Advanced workspace. I may be trying to run before I can walk here!

The Advanced worksapce is no different from the Basic (the default) except that it contains more stuff. So there is nothing special to "work out". Simply select it using the control I mentioned (the drop-down menu at the bottom of the palette window), and everything works as before, you will just find more symbols available on the palettes.
This assumes you are using a recent version of MuseScore - 2.0 or later.
