Titles, Composer, Poet, etc.

Hi, gang!!!

Is there an automatic way to ask MuseScore gnome to put, on the first page of the score, the music piece Title, SubTitle, Composer(s) and Poet(s), without to have to do it manually? ??? How? ???

Greetings!!!

Sorry!!!

I forgot to mention what I mean, when we start a new score (from scratch) MuseScore asks us to enter those "variables" into the "Tags" parameters. So, MuseScore knows what we're talking about.

But, when we have the music score page on the screen, we don't have title, subtitle, composer(s) and poet(s). We just have the empty music staves.

Wouldn't be nice to save time if MuseScore put those values on the first page automatically? ???

Is there a way to do it? How? Where? ???

Greetings!!!

I'm confused. If you tell MuseScore the title, subtite, and composer when you create your score, that information *is* placed on the first page. If you *don't* tell MuseScore that information when you create your score, then how would MuseScore know what to display

Maybe you mean, if you don't enter that information when you create the score, but instead decide to go to File / Info later and add it? I'm not sure people would necessary want all changes made there to automatically change the score as well, and in any case, you really don't need to add the information there. Just add it directly to your score via Add / Text.

Oh, I'm so sorry, Marc!!!

Obviously it is a personal bad behaviour (I, me, mine). I always jump to the music score without to write any in the initial window MuseScore shows.

Now I can see that MuseScore really put titles and others in the right place, IF we write it on the first window.

My bad behaviour is about I always jump to write the notes and then, when I finish the music, I enter the texts and I go to the "tags" properties and, obviously, then I have to write those texts manually on the score.

Such a fool of me!!!

Anyway, it would be great that MuseScore could "read" the tags automatically to put it on the right place. Just an idea.

Thanks a lot for your help!!!
