That is normal, in 2.0 at least

okay than it needs to be deleted so i can make a new one?
I mean, how does one handle that?
Thanks!

handle what?
Look into https://musescore.org/en/handbook/layout-and-formatting-0#style-edit-ge… and https://musescore.org/en/handbook/score-information for what can get shown and where, also https://musescore.org/en/handbook/layout-and-formatting-0#layout-page-s… and https://musescore.org/en/handbook/text-style-0

Make the page slightly longer, or change the offset of footer text

It does for me. I increased vertical offset for footer text from 5mm to 7mm

That is: if i make the page longer it moves out of sight and if i change the offset to 10mm it is in the right place but with both methods i still cannot grab and drag it.

Right, you won't be able to drag it whatsoever you try, that much is normal.
Why would you want to select and drag it anyway? Just reposition via it's text style, or place it at a different section of the footer, like left or right rather than center
In reply to Right, you won't be able to by Jojo-Schmitz
¨you won't be able to drag it whatsoever you try, that much is normal¨
okay but it used to work like that before...
¨Why would you want to select and drag it anyway?¨
for fine tuning, sometimes when there is a low bass it might be in the way for exemple.
Thanks

So if i want the copyright to apear only on the 1st page where do i write the $C?
Currently(default?) there is written $:copyright: in the middle page(s?)
But i do not quite understand what a midde page would be.
Should i change $:copyright: to $C ?
Thank you!
In reply to thank you for this link: by aeLiXihr
oh i get it middle is in the middle of the page :) sorry for that
In reply to thank you for this link: by aeLiXihr
indeed, $C for copyright on first page only, $c for copyright on all, $:copyright: is the same, just more to type
You could also use a spacer and attach it to a measure in the last system, then make it slightly longer, so all systems are squeezed up a but and so keep clear from the copyright
In reply to indeed, $C for copyright on by Jojo-Schmitz
thank you Jojo! It worked perfectly.
(i could not figure out what the difference between $:copyright: and $c would be, i am always a bit scared to screw things up)
In reply to thank you Jojo! It worked by aeLiXihr
$:copyright: directly access the tag with the name copyright, $c is just a shortcut for the same thing. $:tagname: is just the generic way to access all of the tags
This is on the list of Known limitations of MuseScore 2.0 , so you know the developers are bothered by it and would like to come up with a better system.

okay, i can however grab and drag the footer on this one akkoorden.mscz

But when you do, you see that dotted line connecting it to the first measure? That reveals that it's actually a piece of staff text added to the first measure, and its just been dragged down the bottom of the page and its text style change to that of a footer. You can return it to its original position by clicking on it and pressing [Ctrl]+[R] (Mac: [Cmd]+[R]).
In reply to But when you do, you see that by Isaac Weiss
Excuse me, all of you (I can hardly read and translate all the post).
@aeLiXihr: I inserted the copyright;
From Style/Text/Footer I set the Offset value, vertical, to 10mm-
It can be a solution?

ok: already said (I'm slow)

thank you all, i will just use that one as a template for the next.
Then all is fine :)
It is a problem stiil... could you try and remove the footer that says onno.cc?
And if you managed, tell me how you did that?
Thanks!
