Foot Stomp Instrument
I think foot stomps should be implemented in MuseScore with different "Terrain Sounds" like on gravel, sand, or wood etc.

You can implement any sound that you like so long as you can find a sound font for it.

An instrument in MuseScore is just a name and a few attributes. It does nothing you can't do just as easily taking a staff and changing its name. Without the soundfont, there will be no particular benefit to having an entry in instrument list.
You obviously haven't checked the list of instruments in the Untuned percussion section....
