"Position slides" for guitar

It would be useful to have a dotted line option for the glissando to use as a guitar "position slide," as in the following:

The dotted line tells the user to keep the finger on the string for the duration of the slide, but the "slide" does not sound.

Actually, diagonal lines do the job just as well, and they are the preferred option for cases such as the above, but they take a little longer to set up.
