Change ties into notes plus dots
Hi, gang!!!
Is there an easy (automatic) way to change notes joined with ties into notes plus dots? ???
I "translated" a musical piece from an old *.mid file and, because a rare reason, MuseScore is showing a lot of notes joined with tie instead the normal notes and dots. It is rare because I checked the box to avoid it, but... here it is!!!
Anyway, How could I change it now, when the scores is with this issue? ???
I mean, I can change it note by note. But... There are a lot of notes to change!!!
There should be some tool to do this. I think.
I attached the file, even I know it is a very, very, very, very known piece.
BTW, as you can see in the score, the page info is out of the print page boundaries. How can I fix it? ???
Greetings & Blessings!!!!!!!
Juan

Note by note is the only way, but it's very simply - just press ".". There is no automated facility because this would not happen in normal use. Perhaps a plugin could be created, though.
You can control the size of the marign in Layout / Page Settings and the position of the footer via Style / Text / Footer.

I exported the MuseScore file to *.mid format and re-loaded this *.mid file again and now... Voila!!! The ties disappeared!!!
I don't understand why MuseScore didn't do it the first time I asked the "translation" from the original *.mid file!!!
Well, Things of the life!!!
I'm attaching the final version of the piece.
As it is intended to the "normal" 8.5x13 inches size paper (21.59x33 centimeters), it is a very large piece. I wish to have a wide paper printer, some day!!!
BTW: Is there a way to put a "Page Jump" between the Tittle and the first staves system? ???

Either add a page break from the palette, or use Inspector to increase the bottom gap of the frame.

Great!!!
Now I got a real "Front Page".
Well, not all I wanted (I need a decorative frame and other things), but... It's a very great step forward to me, hehehehe.
BTW: Is there a way to avoid the automatic sympathy time signature inserted at the end of the Canon part? I'd want to get a real ending in this measure, and it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a Pause control command at this place, to force to click on the Play button manually, too (as it is in the real world, musicians take a breath between movements or parts). How could I? ???

Add a Section break from the breaks palette - that forces a line break, disables the automatic courtesy signatures & clefs, restarts the measure numering, and inserts a short pause in the playback. You can also do any of those things individually. For exampe, to hide a courtesy time signature, select the real one then uncheck "Show courtesy" in the Inspector. To restart measure numbering, right click the first measure of the new movement, Measure Properties, and enter the appropriate (negative) number in "Add to measure number"
Also, for the title page. you can insert all the fancy graphics you like as images.
