Chords With Quavers
Is there a way to remove the unwanted hooks from chords with quavers? Or, is making them invisible the only method? There may be a method in the Handbook but I couldn't find it.

Without the hook it won't be a quaver anymore...
But yes, I think making them invisible is the only way.

Of course. If I have a three note chord that consists of eighth notes, the chord has three hooks. It only needs one. Invisible must be the only way, I guess.

Wait, what…? How can it have three hooks? It's not supposed to do that. Do you have an example score you can attach?

Then it isn't a chord
A quaver chord has one stem and one flag or beam and one or more noteheads. What you seem to be seeing is different chords of just one note with stems pointing into the same direction, and their flags not overlapping one another

I found my mistake. The Handbook lead me to believe I had to use a different voice for each note in the chord. I didn't know each note of the cord can be placed with the same voice. Time to redo my score.

No need! Select the relevant measures, edit->tools->implode.
