Courtesy Clef refuses to hide
I have deselected "Create Courtesy Clefs" in the "Styles-General-Page" dialogue box; I have right-click-"hide courtesy clef". Nothing hides the courtesy clef. I can use the "v" command to make it invisible, but the spacing is thrown off because, technically, the courtesy clef is still there.

Are you using 2.0.2? On what operating system?
If the style option didn't make it go away, chances are you score has becomes corrupted somehow and will require some special techniques to fix. Might work to delete the real clef then add it again, or possibly to add or remove a line break somewhere first to get that clef change to the middle of a system, but those are just guesses - we'd need you to attach the score to help much more.
