Divermento in Bb
I have started composing a Divermento in Bb. I know that divermentos can have up to 10 movements and that the first and last movements should preferably be in the same key.
But since I seem to have an exposition, Development, and Recapitulation would it be better to write this as a sonata?
Also I am having a hard time figuring out what to put in the left hand.
Here is the score:

Maybe fill the left hand with some simple notes, repeat the first four measure (in canon) and take it from there? If you're calling it a divertimento then you can maybe add a few strings and an oboe but if you want to make it a piano sonata then you're looking at scoring for a full orchestra.
