album problems

Opus Nine.mscz 7 problems include:

1)swing will not turn off, musecsore crashes when i try via text system swing,
2)there is no attacka, some of these movements are meant to follow without break,
3)egtr triplet tremelo in the last movement works on the second beat but not first,
4)pagebreak for mov 2 does not work,
5)heavy barline at the beginning of each line has not come through,
6)machine gets confused wshen trying to make parts, it just does mov1,
7)piano keyboard wont display,

Please file separate reports for separate problkems, and give *precise* step by step instructions to reproduce each.

Also, it's better to use the forum first to verify something is really a bug or misisng feature before using the issue tracker. Some of these I am sure will turn out to be simple misunderstandings. Eg, to have one movement follow another with no break, simply right the section break icon, Section Break Properties, and set the pause to 0. Also, you mention page breaks, but you havem't actually added page breaks - you've added *line* breaks. I had no problem adding a page break. And I also had no problem generating new parts that included the whole score - only the *existing* parts are not updated.

So I start up seven threads for each? where? presumably I only upload once?

solved straightaway

I tried making more parts which worked, but when I tried removing the old parts for just one movement musescore crashed..

The support forum is the place to ask support questions, which is what most of these are. The crashes are the only clear bugs. The others may simply be misunderstandings, but it is impossible to say without more information. So maybe give the precise steps to reproduce the crash in 1) here. Then open a separate bug report for the crash in 6) - and include precise steps to reproduce that crash as well. You can include a link to this issue rather than re-uploading the file.

In the future, it really is best to use separate support threads for separate questions - it makes it much easier to follow the discussion and for people to find answers in the future. But it's ok to ask about 3, 5, and 7 in a single thread if that is more convenient this time.

with persistence I finally got the swing box to work

solved straightaway

this one corrected when I took out swing

4)pagebreak for mov 2 does not work,
solved straightaway

just put it in again at the beginning...

6)machine gets confused wshen trying to make parts, it just does mov1,
I tried making more parts which worked, but when I tried removing the old parts for just one movement musescore crashed..
got this one to work, part the problem is the parts dialog box can hide behind other things...

7)piano keyboard wont display,
still a problem

there is also
8)the 8ve and 15th signs play back in the original files but the album ignores them

One problem (Bug or Feature request), one issue in the issue tracker, simple as that. Make sure each is detailed enough to get the problem reproduced, attach offending score, mention OS and MuseScore version.
In the forum you may discuss several retaled issue in one thread, but make sure to Keep unrelated things appart, to avoid confusion.
And please spell check, I do lots of typos too, but if there are too many, it becomes difficult to follw ;-)
