Note lines darker?

• Dec 17, 2010 - 16:03

Hi, is there something I can do to make the note lines darker? I can do it with fonts by pressing the B icon, and I can make the bar lines invisible. Can I make the notes stand out more? (Prominent?). Kind regards.

What do you mean by "note lines"? Are you referring to staff lines or note stems? More prominent than what other element on the page?

You can increase the overall size of the notes and staff lines via Layout > Page Settings and increasing the "Scaling".

I am using Windows XP and MuseScore Version 0.9.6.3.
I did the "scaling" thing. It solved my problem with the overall size of the notes and the staff lines. (Please see my previous post). Thank you!
I am referring to the actual note body and stem as a whole. I am only wondering if I can make a note look more prominent as I can do with font by using the B icon. Just curious.

Kind regards

It is not possible to increase the size of the note independently from the staff lines in MuseScore. If the note head was larger it would not fit inside the staff lines. Some programs let you adjust the thickness of the staff lines and note stems (traditionally the note stems and staff lines are the same thickness).
