Time Signatures
I'm writing something for piano and I'm trying to have the treble and bass clefs each have different time signatures (5/4 and 4/4). When I try to change the time signature it changes it for both clefs. Am I missing something?

However, the local time signature feature will still assume barlines should align - it will scale the 5/4 bars to be the same length as the 4/4 bars. I'm guessing you actually want the barlines to be in different places. This is not syandard notation - normally passages like this are simply written in 4/4 and the passages that seem 5/4-ish will simply cross bar lines. But if you wish to create that sort of experimental notation, you can fake it using longer measures and placing barlines directly in front of relevant notes manually from the barlines palette.
