How do I notate triplets in different voices?
I'm notating a beautiful piano solo piece called "Der Erlkonig" in MuseScore for leisure listening, but I ran into a problem. I don't know how to notate this part of the piece (see attachment). Please help me on how to notate this.
The attachment has the original score (white background) along with the MuseScore notation.

To understand how voices work in MuseScore read Voices in the handbook.
I notice partway through the actual piece in your picture, it stops displaying the upper voice's rests. If you want to do this, you could even use one voice and change the beam properties (see http://musescore.org/en/handbook/beam )

So I can continue notating that part of the piece as I'm doing now?

If you want it to look the way it does in the last 7 measures that can be seen in your picture of that piece, you can do it how you are now, and then go to the 2nd note of each group, telling it to start a new beam at each. It depends on what you want it to look like. What you have already, as is, will technically be the same as what you see in the actual music, so anything more depends on what you want to see.
