extended play-checkbox

I would like to see the functionality of the "play"-checkbox extended. Currently the checkbox if you want to play something or not is only available for notes/rests and the articulations & ornaments. I would like to have the same feature for the dynamics, ties and lines (slur, hairpin, ...) as well.

Furthermore I suggest to replace that checkbox with something that allows more customisation. Let's assume I have a song with two verses. To listen to the whole song I would put a repeat barline at the end and the playback would sound two times exactly the same. But if the song has a different lyric distribution, it wouldn't sound the way I'd have to sing it. Maybe there's a note that's only relevant in the first verse. I would like to disable that note for the second repetition. Or maybe only the second verse is forte and the first one is not.

I don't want to copy the whole song twice, so I suggest something like the repeat list in the volta properties. You could easily enter which note, articulation, dynamics, ... should be played in which repetition.

If there's already such a feature I would like to know.

Not playing ties doesn't really make sense - what would that mean? Don't hold the note, or repeat it? And why would you want that?

Slurs don't payback, so that much is covered :-)

For dynamics, simply add plain text and give it the Dynmamics text style if you don't want them to affect playback.

Yes, that's what I've meant. I want to achieve slightly different playbacks within a repeated section. Like in the following example.

It should look like this:

... and sound like that:

In Final (Klemm Music Technology) there is a "play only on pass x"-option for dynamics, where you can adjust in which repetition the expression should be played. I was able to mute and unmute notes from repetition to repetition as well. Therefor I had to create a custom dynamic-sign which sets the volume to zero and say "play only on pass 2". So the note would only play on pass 1 and mute on pass 2.

I want to have a similar feature in MuseScore. But not only for dynamics, but also for ties, fermatas, hairpins and all the other expressions. I thought to replace the play-checkbox with something like a repeat list would be suitable. But that's just a proposal.
