How do I increase the distance between the treble and base score to make lyrics more readable, how do I center the lyric between the treble and base score.

Those make great reading for sure. The short answer ends up being, to set the space between staves, use Style / General Page, either "Grand staff distance" or "Staff distance" depending on whether your score has one instrument with two staves (a "grand staff"), or two instruments with one staff each. And to set the default vertical position of lyrics, use either Style / General / Page / Lyrics top margin, or Style / Text / Lyrics Odd Verse. The Handbook will help explain how these settings work and how they interact with other settings.
