No Sound! Please Help!!!

I Can't play the scores. The PLAY button is greyed out and it doesn't do anything! I can't access the synthesizer, and the notes don't play when I enter them. The weirdest thing is that this happens every once in a while when I log on! Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't!
