Shift notes in editing mode timing failure
This was asked first (that I know ) 4 years ago on the forum. Still no answer.
If one press 'shift'+horizontal arrow with any note marked. The whole work goes bogus. all timings messed up.
I know in your hand-book there is not such quick combination. But it is there and it's intuitive to use it.
Why ? Still after at least 4 years?

Thank you for bringing it up! Just added to https://musescore.org/en/handbook/note-input#other-shortcuts.
I am not sure what you mean. Shift left/right arrow in normal mode simply extends the current selection. Shift + left/right in note input mode exchanges the selected note with the previous or next note. In neither case is any timing messed up. If you are seeing spme rare unusual case where it is, please post the specific score you are having problems with and precise step by step instructions to reproduce the problem.

Thanks for reply!
Steps:
Create a new score. Enter note input mode (N). Insert 1 quarter note + 1 half note + 1 quarter note. Go back left to half note move it 1 step left with SHIFT+left arrow. So you now see 1 half note followed by 2 quarter notes. Done. Exit note input mode and play it (or open piano roll editor by right-clicking on a stave and choosing "Pianoroll Editor" from the menu). What you hear is not what you see.

Wow, you're right. BTW, I don't think anyone has ever reported this before. The Shift+left comamnd is brand new for 2.0. It did not exist in any release 4 years ago, and I don't think most people are even aware of its existence. I suppose it might have been in an experimental nightly build that long ago, but I can't find any existing report of a bug like this, so I have created a new one: #88291: Shift left/right command in note input create corrupt timing if durations do not match
Thanks for the report!
