transpose an entire part up an octave...
Hi all...I uploaded a score from a different software i was using and when i opened the individual parts, it dropped the electric bass down an octave. how do i fix this?

Most likely you have a different clef going. Posting the score would us understand for sure, but see if there is a little "8" next to the clef in either the original or the imported version or the parts - that's the symbol for a clef that automatically transposes an octave. That's how bass is normally notated - it sounds an octave lower than written. If you've already made that adjustment, though, or set it up using transposition in Staff Properties, you can just replace that with the standard bass clef. Or vice verdsa if it's the other way around. Again, it would be easier to give more specific instructions if you attach the score.
