Deleting a Staff?
I have a score I made with 2 staves, top one for guitar and the bottom for vocals. I want to delete the guitar staff while maintaining the vocals.
Is there a way to do that? I tried copying just the vocal measures to a new score but the software would lock up each time.
Thanks,
JC

Hi,
You can press i and then select the staff and delete it by pressing the delete button.
The software shouldn't lock up so if you could attach your score and give steps to reproduce the crash it would be very helpful, we could take a look to fix the issue in the next version.

Thank you, that was too easy. :)
I attached the file where I selected just the measures from the Voice hit Ctrl-C and in an empty score with a single staff hit Ctrl-P. This is where is locked up.

I can't reproduce. I select all the measures in the voice, then copy, then select the first measure of "my first score" and paste (Ctrl+P). No crash. Any additional step?

I notice that the attached score was created with MuseScore 1.3. @mech3d, you might try updating to the latest version of the program (currently 2.0.2).

There was indeed a bug in 1.3 involving copying and pasting between scores with different numbers of staves in certain cases. It was fixed a long time ago, the current versions should be fine.

Thank you for your help. This software is incredible, my hat off to you for putting together such a comprehensive and easy to use music package.
