Tuplets in drum notation
How do I split tuplets between snare (or tom) drum and bass drum ?
I have tried to create a measure of continuous 1/8th note triplets (12 strokes in 4/4 time) alternating between the snare drum (or toms) and the bass drum but it's not allowing me to do it.
I can easily add both snare drum and bass rum triplets so each stroke is doubled up but not one or the other.

to create a triplet, you first enter the duration fo the total tuplet, then press Ctrl+3, then then enter the notes. Since snare and bass drums default to different voices, you will need to force one onto the other's voice when entering it. You can do this by entering the note via the mosue rather than the leyboard, and preselecting the desired voice. Or enter all three notes as the same pitch, then use the arrow keys to change the pitch of one.
