USB External Sound Card or Graphic Equalizer for Laptop?
I have a G 72 HP laptop computer which I like quite a lot. Unfortunately, the sound quality isn't that great. To make up for this deficiency I have a speaker system consisting of one will for into trouble speakers.
The problem I am with the speakers is that I can't control the volume and the sound input. I can turn up the volume, but either the base overpowers the travel or the trouble overpowers the base.
So I have been wondering which would help so my problem an external USB soundcard or a graphic equalizer. If possible, I'd like to keep this under $100. If not, please someone tell me so.
if anyone else has any other ideas how I can control the sound input on my speakers I would really like to hear them.
Sincerely,
Lafayette

Depending on your internal soundcard, you might already have an equalizer installed. If not, I never used it but, assuming you run windows, you could try https://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/
You could also redirect the audio output of MuseScore to JACK and apply any JACK compatible equalizer before directing the stream to your audio system. See http://www.jackaudio.org/
