Note size of first vs second-voice notes...
Context: MuseScore 2. Creating fake book style lead sheet, 1 staff and chords.
I created several second-voice notes but they appear on the screen (and hardcopy) to be the same size as first voice notes. Is there a way to make the second voice notes "smaller" than first voice ones, to be consistent with traditional printed sheet music?
Thanks,
fingers
P.S. First vs second voice differentiation based solely on stem direction, and not note size, can at times lead to confusion
Comments
Select the measure;
Open selection filter (F6) untick Voice 1;
Open Inspector> select notes;
Tick "small".
It should work

Shoichi,
That's exactly what I needed! Thanks

You don't say why you are using two voices, but if it is to notate "kicks" in rhythmic notation, you might want to look at https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tools#toggle-rhythmic-slash-notation.
Mark,
Sorry about not being clear. I am working on a lead sheet for a two part vocal (main melody one voice, passing tones the other voice)
