Ties in Musescore 2
When I try to add a tie in Musescore 2, the tie doesn't connect the two closest notes. Why is that?

That doesn't look like a tie, it looks like a slur. https://musescore.org/en/handbook/slur-0
Ties will tie consecutive notes only.
On a second look you are trying to join an F# and an F natural. The bar line removes the accidental in the first bar.

Ahh my mistake.
I thought I was doing something wrong because I never have had any problems before in musescore (other than the entire program crashing because of the various large soundfonts on slow machines) :)
