include picture into text frame?
Hello!
I am preparing an orchestral score. In the beginning I created a text frame (on page one, before the music notation starts) that includes the instrumentation. Among the instruments are 4 timbales. The composer gave the exact timbales to use and penned down a short snippet of barlines and noteheads.
I created such a picture through musescore and made a "screenshot" (to get a png-file). I then tried to include the picture, but it has to be connected to a specific measure. I then just connected it to the first measure and moved it in the text frame (so on another page, one page before). Everything looks good on screen, but when I create a pdf-file the picture is not visible (is it maybe "below" the text frame?).
I then tried different modifications and noticed that the picture remains visible in the pdf-file when it stays on the same page as the measure it is connected to. But when I move it to a different page it disappears. I created a "test-score" to show the problem (see below). It contains two pages: First page with text frame and moved picture and a second page with measures and againa picture. Both are visible on screen, but only the second one in the pdf-file
Does anyone has a solution for this?

It doesn't work to move elements to a different page. If you want the graphic attached to a frame, why not do so directly, using the frame's right click menu?

I actually don't understand your comment. When I right-click on the frame the only appropriate option would be to paste the picture into the frame. I did that and nothing happened. So what did you mean how I can do it?

Right Click on the frame, then choose Add > Image

I don't have "Add > Image". When I right-click on the text frame I got
Cut
Copy
Paste
Select (with down menu "All similar elements" / "All similar elements in same staff")
Edit Element
Text Style
Text Properties
Help
Where is the Add? (Btw I use Musescore 2.0.2)

a Text Frame is for... text! So for pictures use a vertical or horizontal frame instead ;-)
Create a vertical frame to include text and picture.
