Clarifying the Melody Line
I transcribe fiddle tunes and have had several requests by players of other instruments to grey out notes of double stops that are not melody notes. Frankly, it would help some fiddlers too.
It would be easiest for me if a note color could be changed on an individual basis rather that assigning dirrerent colors to different parts. Just being able to make a faded gray note would do the trick.
It would doubtless be useful for any score where clearly seeing a melody line was important.

You already can change the color of individual notes, using the Inspector (see View menu if you have closed it).

Thank you! That's great. I tried all kinds of searches and concluded it couldn't be done based on what I could find.
I'm going to donate a little more now.
