How to add polyrhythms in an unmeasured cadenza?

Hi, I'm trying to write out part of this cadenza from Rachmaninoff's 3rd piano concerto. I am unsure how to change the beam to an octuplet in the right hand over a sextuplet in the left hand (see photos below). Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks!

It is within a cadenza, but the issue for me is I don't know how to write Rachmaninoff's subdivision to have one beam in both the right and the left hand. If I use the tuplets feature on the right hand and on a half rest click command+8, it gives me 16th note octuplets. If I click command+6 on a half note I get 8th note sextuplets. Do you know how to get it looking the way Rachmaninoff wrote it?

I'm not really following. Are you just saying you want them to be octuplets, but be notates as eighth notes rather than sixteenth? Use Notes / Tuplets / Other and choose the exact ratio (e.g, 8 in the space of 4, to have octuplet eighths in the space of a half note).

But FWIW, don't be sure that's how Rachmaninoff wrote it; those decisions are more often made by the editor / engraver of the particular edition you are reading from.
