Recorders
I play along with musescore on mostly SATB recorder pieces. But the sound quality is very poor. It sound like a beginner recorder player on a rather poor cheapo recorder.
Is there a way to improve the sound quality?

I wouldn't know a good recorder sound if I heard it. I suggest that you search the internet for "Recorder sound font" and see what you can find. There are probably free ones out there that would be sufficient as well as sound fonts being sold that would probably be of higher quality.

One of the problems with recorders is that most people learn the descant at school and the whole effect can be very off putting. Especially if they have various different makes of recorder and some of the kids are blowing harder than others.
A collection of five pitches of recorders and some nice music and the effect can be very good, especially with only two carefully matched descant players.
The sound of the recorder on Musescore is unfortunately more like the school rendering.

Is there someone else who can help with this please? Are there other recorder players out there?

I created a fake flute patch (and several vibrato and volume swell patches) for you. (by checking the frequencies of wooden flute samples in the Audacity software).
Try it, maybe it will work for you.
