String section out of time
Is anybody experiencing the same problem? When I put the solo violin and the string section (violins, violas, and cellos, etc.) together, the string section looks like it is out of time by roughly a 16th note, and the woodwinds are not out of time. It just doesn't feel right.

You need to attach a score that shows this. I've never heard of it before so you probably did something by accident.

The problem occurs at measure 109. It feels like the solo is rushing, and the string section is falling behind.

I believe it's an illusion. The tremolo you have written out (alternating 8th notes) is slower that most tremolos (16th notes or faster). You then put dotted 8th + 16th on the last beat of several measures in the solo so the 16th notes here seem quick against the slow tremolo. After hearing m70ff (same rhythm in violins against 16th note background) it would especially feel like the strings are dragging. I'm not saying this is wrong. It's just my impression of what you are hearing.
