Musescore Drumline 1.3.1 / Musescore : 3.5.2.311459983 (FR)
Bonjour,
Cordialement,
Andres

The opening of Musescore is much longer (download of Sound Fonts (?)
Yes, this is due to uncompressing the sound samples into RAM, see #278300: MuseScore with MDL has long startup
The interface has changed: Fonts larger, therefore screen more readable but number of items per palette reduced and it is necessary to use the "More" button
Yes, this is a known issue, see #292131: MDL workspace missing menu items and #297853: Installing MDL change font-size and probably #305154: Installing MDL results in vertically expanded UI at times too
Some pallets have been "defrancised" so a mix of names in French and English.
Yes, this is due to the palettes having a different content which has not been translated
In general see #297854: [EPIC] MDL issues for a list of MDL issues...

Thank you for the speed of the response and the information on these small problems which are not very serious. While probably won't take advantage of the Drumline, it's certainly a very interesting addition for drummers. Once again thank you all for this software and the various plugins.

Well, the big delay in startup IMHO is a serious problem, and the missing workspace items too. Not sure which is worse. Both lead me to avoid MDL like the plague.

It didn't seem like it was that long. I timed and it's almost 2 minutes (00:01:50:). If you don't leave Musescore open, the wait can indeed be long. Thank you again for your answers.

Yes I'm staring MuseScore anew multiple times a day, having to wait 2 minutes and more every time is just way top much for me and my legendary impatience ;-)

Before replacing my hard drive with an SSD with Windows 10 and the age that is inexorably advancing, I learned to be patient :0).
I can leave Musescore open when I use it but I understand your annoyance ;0)
Sorry for my googlish.
Have a nice day!
