Unattended / automated installation of extensions?
Is there any way to do an unattended or automated installation (on Windows) of MuseScore extensions such as DrumLine?
We've deployed MuseScore to our college's Music department classroom to replace a costly commercial product, but we anticipate that Music might want us to install extensions as well.

That's really helpful, thanks! For some reason my searching on the MuseScore site did not manage to turn that page up.

It is a well kept secret ;-)
And pretty much guaranteed to nor work for any other version of MuseScore but 3.5.x, not without adjusting that URL

It looks like extensions are per-user on Windows and install themselves in a MuseScore3 subfolder in the user's Documents folder, so I guess our users can just install these themselves if they want to use them.

Yes, they are on a per user base. Not sure whether these can get installed on a system base too, so they'd 'eat' space only once.
Similar for the other extension, the HQ soundfont...
The MDL extension causes a considerable startup delay of ~2 minutes, so not all users may want or need that?

I would expect that you can go into Edit->Preferences and set the soundfont and extensions folders to a network location but I don't have a network to test this on.
