Placing grace notes as normal notes (With Images)
I want to do something with grace notes, but I just can't know how. It's like the grace notes is linked with a normal one, as in the images. How is this possible to do? Is it possible to place grace notes without a root note?

For the first image you could use the "grace note after".
The 2nd image however seems to be a cadenza to me; which is notated with normal small notes (so no grace notes) and possibly a tuplet for timing. You can turn any (single note) chord small by selecting it and then check the "small" option in the "chord" section of the inspector.
