changing main title
Hi, sorry i have a problem with the title of my piece.
i called my piece a name when i set it up (egyptian war) and this is what displays when i print it, and i want to change this
i have changed the movement title and work title to what it should be (in score properties) but neither of these display when i print.
How do i delete (and replace) the old title.
Please note i can only see the old title when i hit print so i cant click on it.

Had been answered in #315288: changing the main title already :
You just double click the title and edit it.

im sorry to seem stupid but i cant ever see the title on the score. it is only when i print it that the title displays and since that is a pdf i cant click on it !

Page View/Continuous View?
Select the title in the score you can press Del or double click and edit it

as above the title is never displayed in musescore that i can see, only when i print out a PDF and so there is nowhere for me to click !

No, it is not, it is a screenshof of the score inside MuseScore, very clearly seen (that dotted frame around the title is the final hint and proof):

ok but i only see that when i push print, but i cant edit the score at that point as i am in the print menu, first screen shot. when i hit cancel print it reverts to the 2nd screenshot

Ah, that's exactly that temporary switch for the purpose of printing

OK, i have attached the muscore file, there is no title on the score that i can see but when you push print then the old title "egyptian war appears !"

Then this score is not the same as the one your screenshot shows.
That score indeed is in Continuous View, just like @Shoichi already mentioned.
Switch to Page View (export to PDF does that, temporarily, as there are no endless width PDFs)
